Our region includes Chemainus, Cobble Hill, Cowichan Bay,Crofton,

Duncan, Lake Cowichan, Malahat, Mill Bay, Nitinat, North Cowichan,

Penelakut Island, Saltair, Shawnigan Lake and Thetis Island.

May is Child Care Month in BC

In honour of Child Care month, Cowichan Valley CCRR Consultants will visit  8 communities in the valley to talk with parents at school-based StrongStart programs, the Community Resource Bus StrongStart programs & VIHA Healthy Beginnings sessions.

On Saturday, May 26th the CCRR will host, "Exploring Creative Art & Movement, a Professional Development workshop for 24 registered child care providers. As our way of saying thankyou for the hours of dedicated care and support they provide to children and families we are also providing a luncheon.
