"Social Communication"
Speech & Language Pathologists with the Children's Development Services at the Clements Centre will address how to help children who have difficulty communicating within a social context. Strategies are structured around daily routines eg: arrival, free play, snack, circle, transitions.
As there are a maximum of 20 participants, please register early.

Join Vincenza Gruppuso, Ph.D. for an informative and insightful workshop on establishing and maintaining a good relationship with the parents of the children in your setting. Vincenza will give you ideas about how to have a supportive relationship with the families in your care, whereby a foundation can be set so that you will be able to discuss difficult topics with the parents with confidence. Later in the day, Vincenza will also discuss how to approach parents respectfully when you believe a professional assessment of a child in your care may be required.
